Focus Group 2 by Rebel Productions
This is our second try at a focus group where we gathered more information about what consumers are looking for in adverts, what catches their attention and persuades them to buy the product as well reasons why they buy other washing powder instead of persil. The focus group told us that Persil adverts are very iconic and are always about the same things so it gets straight down to the point, the adverts are mainly aimed at familes as they will have alot of washing, more often than not the Persil adverts always involve a Mum as they know what to do and every problem in the advert can be solved with a cup of Persil, the adverts make men look useless and makes women look like they have all the answers, alot of the adverts aren't very modern and sticks to the same routine each advert, alot of the focus group liked the fact Persil was eco - friendly, however, they only know this because it "says so on the box" and Persil could be stretching the truth a little and the focus grouo also liked it when adverts compare old to new to show how things have changed in less than 50 years.
